Instructions and rules

Kirpputori Timantti

Booking a sales spot

You can reserve a table for a fixed period (e.g. 1–4 weeks) or continuously.

A fixed-term reservation is made in the KirppariKalle system and expires automatically. The place can be renewed unless it has been reserved for someone else.

A standing reservation can be made on site or by phone.

The rental period is at least 7 days (days of closure are not included).

Cancellations must be made on site at least 3 days before the start of the period. Any non-cancellable booking will be charged the rent.

Pricing

Products must be priced only with the Kirpputori Timantti's own barcoded price labels.

Price tags can be filled in

  • At Kirppari-Kalle (€0.85 / sheet)
  • by hand (1.10 € / sheet)

Price clearly and realistically. Avoid overpricing and report any defects or deficiencies.

All discounts must be notified to the cashier in advance.

Note: Changes to prices always require a new price tag – manually corrected prices are not accepted!

Starting the sales period

You can fill your sales spot on the previous open day one hour before closing:

  • Tue–Fri at 18:00
  • La–Su klo 15:00

Note! The deadline for bookings starting on Tuesday is Sunday between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, as we are closed on Mondays.

You can fill your sales area freely during opening hours. Remember that a table that is too full will not attract customers.

Items must fit inside the sales area and aisles must be kept clear. Individual furniture selling - contact us.

Sales tracking

Each product has a unique barcode and product numbering.

You can track your sales in real time through Kirppari-Kalle.

Sales information will only be disclosed to the person who has reserved the space (identity will be checked).

End of sales period

Please notify the cashier when you start vacating your seat.

The place must be vacated no later than one hour before closing:

  • Tue–Fri by 6:00 PM.
  • Sat–Sun by 3:00 PM.

If we have not agreed on the emptying, and we have to do it for you, we will charge €15.

Pre-arranged emptying costs €10.

Products not picked up from the sales point are considered abandoned after 7 days and become the property of the flea market.

Please show unsold items to the staff. Do not remove price tags – they serve as proof of ownership.

Accidentally taken foreign items are considered theft and will be reported to the police.

If you wish, you can donate unsold items to the flea market - in this case, no clearance fee will be charged.

Sales revenue settlement

Payment is made in cash or to an account. Payments over €200 are mainly made to an account. The transfer is free of charge and takes place within 7 banking days.

Cash settlement is possible after the sales period ends.

Adding or changing an account number can only be done on site by staff. (Account number matters cannot be handled by phone or email.)

For those who have rented for multiple sales periods, interim settlements can be made. Ask the staff for more information.

A 5% fee is charged on all payments to cover transaction costs.

After-sales

After the sales period ends, you can check on KirppariKalle whether there have been any after-sales.

If the product is not sold or picked up within 14 days, it will become the property of the flea market.

Money collected from after-sales is held for 30 days.
